This travel opportunity places you in the bustling Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin. As a registered nurse with OB and L&D experience, you will be responsible for caring for mothers and newborns in an 11-bed labor unit and an 8-bed postpartum area. Your days will be structured around 12-hour shifts, offering a chance to immerse yourself in the rhythm of childbirth and postpartum care. The role involves managing a variable patient census, handling deliveries averaging over 100 per month, and working in a setting that calls for quick thinking and expertise in obstetric emergencies.
