Job Description:

This travel RN position is focused on Med Surg and Orthopedic units, where you'll handle cases such as joint replacements, spine surgeries, and other orthopedic treatments. The shift is 12-hour nights, offering a chance to work through the quiet of the night while providing essential support to the team. You will be responsible for managing patient reports, titrating medications like pain meds, antibiotics, and blood products, and collaborating with charge nurses and patient care techs. Mechanical strips are read by tele techs, but you’ll need to be comfortable interpreting monitor outputs. The environment emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, ownership, and a willingness to learn—a blend of professional focus and the subtle rhythm of overnight hours.
