Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Pre-Operative Services unit in Walnut Creek, California, for a 13-week travel contract that offers the chance to sharpen your skills in a busy surgical setting. This role is ideal for experienced RNs with a minimum of five years of clinical practice and at least two years in pre-operative care. You’ll assist with patient preparation for various surgeries, including orthopedics, gynecology, spine, urology, and vascular procedures, handling everything from preoperative calls to labs and nebulizer treatments. Expect to work independently in a setting where your IV skills and ability to manage both inpatient and outpatient needs are highly valued. The unit operates with a team dedicated to optimizing surgical readiness, and you'll be at the center of it all, contributing your expertise in a supportive environment.
