Job Description:

Join Johns Hopkins Hospital's Pediatric IMC team as a dedicated RN specializing in pediatric med-surg and IMC care. This contract offers a chance to work with a variety of patients, from NICU step-downs to complex surgical cases, all within a supportive environment that values your expertise. You'll be responsible for caring for pediatric patients up to 21 years old, including those with trachs, ventilators, or recovering from surgeries like urological or neurosurgical procedures. The role involves 12-hour day and night shifts, with an on-call component—think of it as a rhythmic dance of providing exceptional care across different times and scenarios. Expect to be part of a unit with a 3:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, managing up to 8 beds in the IMC, and collaborating with a team that appreciates experienced professionals capable of handling advanced pediatric cases.
