Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an engaging opportunity on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specializing in acute inpatient telemetry. You will be working in a teaching facility with a team of three staff per shift, vital for managing patients with conditions like Acute Coronary Syndrome, post-PTCA/stent procedures, and other cardiac diagnoses requiring close monitoring. Expect to participate in complex procedures such as insulin drips, cardiac drips, and post-catheterization care. The role involves floating to various units as needed, contributing to the resource float team, and performing tasks like starting IVs, managing drips, and utilizing EPIC for documentation. This assignment is perfect for experienced PCU nurses ready to take on diverse challenges in a supportive environment while wearing navy or white scrubs during 12-hour night shifts.
