Job Description:

Join this ICU nurse contract for a rewarding opportunity working with critically ill patients in a small, 33-bed facility in Cornelius. You will manage a variety of diagnoses such as sepsis, ARDS, GI bleeds, DKA, and renal failure, with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. This role includes ventilator management, invasive line care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and other essential critical care procedures. The shift is 12-hour nights, offering a chance to experience the unique rhythm of nocturnal ICU work. Unique to this assignment is the flexibility to float across regional facilities and the chance to work closely with support teams like RT and hospitalists, all while utilizing advanced equipment such as Epic EMR and Alaris IV pumps.
