Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team in Chicago for a 13-week travel assignment where you'll be working 12-hour days from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. This role offers the opportunity to apply your telemetry and ICU skills in a fast-paced environment with 12 beds, involving an average patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:3. You may also be floated to Telemetry or Emergency Department, and occasional assistance in other areas as needed. The assigned shifts include every other weekend and holiday rotations, with guaranteed hours of 72 per biweekly period. Multiple certifications are required, including an active Illinois RN license, AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting. Experience with Meditech charting is preferred and training on the system is provided during compliance. This position emphasizes resilience, adaptability, and a solid work ethic. Please note, no block schedule requests are accepted, and travelers must have completed at least one prior contract to be considered.
