Job Description:

Join a fast-paced PCU unit in Overland Park, Kansas, where you'll work as a registered nurse floating between multiple Med/Surg Intermediate and PCU departments across several metro campuses. This contract offers the opportunity to manage cardiac monitoring, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond to a variety of cardiovascular and neurological conditions, including stroke, COVID, and sepsis. Your role involves performing cardiac sheaths removal, feeding tube care, IV therapy, and managing central lines, all while adapting to different unit needs. The shifts are 12 hours long during daytime hours, with a commitment of 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment. This position is a float pool role without a dedicated home unit, providing a diverse and engaging experience for adaptable nurses ready to step into different clinical settings.
