Job Description:
Join a fast-paced and highly sought-after emergency department as an experienced ER RN on a 13-week contract at an academic medical center in Gainesville, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work in one of the highest-volume emergency departments in the country, with a focus on adult trauma care. You will be responsible for managing acute cases during 12-hour day shifts, floating as needed within the department to ensure all patients receive prompt attention. The facility values a strong background in handling critical trauma cases, and you will be expected to bring at least three years of recent ER experience, including recent work at a Level 1 or 2 trauma facility in a major metropolitan area. Your skills in swift assessment, advanced life support, and proficiency with electronic medical records (EPIC) will be key to success. This assignment offers a unique chance to enhance your resume at a highly rated academic hospital, all while working in an environment that values teamwork, flexibility, and clinical expertise. Flexibility with scheduling and the ability to adapt quickly are essential for this position.
