Job Description:

Join the team at Levinson Heart Hospital-CVOR for a travel assignment in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) on the 4th floor at CHIPPENHAM HOSPITAL. This role involves scrubbing in on a variety of complex cardiac and thoracic procedures, including bypass surgeries, valve replacements, TAVRs, thoracotomies, VATS, and ECMO initiations. You'll work alongside a dedicated team using advanced equipment and documentation systems, ensuring seamless coordination during demanding cases. The environment offers a well-structured schedule with 10-hour shifts and the opportunity to be part of a team performing cutting-edge surgeries such as daVinci-assisted procedures and open thoracotomies. Candidates should be proficient in cardiac scrubbing, capable of taking call, and comfortable handling a diverse array of high-stakes cases. This assignment is a unique chance to advance your skills while experiencing the vibrant clinical landscape of Richmond.
