Job Description:

Join a rewarding opportunity in a hospital setting where you will provide stepdown level care in the ER Holding Unit. This role is perfect for those with at least two years of recent PCU experience or one year of PCU combined with TELE/ER/ICU background. You will work 12-hour day shifts, gaining hands-on experience with a variety of critical conditions such as cardiac, neuro, and ortho patients. This assignment offers the chance to refine your skills in a fast-paced environment, with support from RT staff available around the clock for ABGs, breathing treatments, and EKGs. You will be actively involved in monitoring patients via spacelabs monitors, reading strip reports, and managing patient transitions in a setting with dedicated holding and seclusion rooms. Expect to follow department-specific orientation to get acquainted with protocols, and enjoy working in a facility that emphasizes safety, with security present 24/7 and a structured weekend schedule.
