Job Description:

Join a reputable acute care hospital in Springfield as a Med Surg RN specializing in Urology and Nephrology. You'll work night shifts in a 25-bed unit, floating within the Medical Surgical scope to meet facility needs. Expect to handle tasks such as vascular access management, telemetry monitoring, and assisting with renal failure cases. This role offers an opportunity to apply your expertise in blood product administration, central line care, and emergency responses like rapid response teams. Experience with Cerner charting is required, and a solid foundation in RN duties is essential, especially for first-timers stepping into travel nursing. The schedule includes 3 nights per week, with some flexibility for block scheduling. Your skills will help ensure smooth patient flow, especially in managing genitourinary and renal cases while adhering to isolation precautions and wound care routines. This assignment promises a rewarding experience in a busy, level I trauma facility where your abilities directly impact patient outcomes.
