Job Description:

Join this engaging labor and delivery nursing role, where you'll be part of a dedicated team caring for new mothers and their babies in a welcoming hospital setting. You'll work a 12-hour rotating shift, providing support in private labor rooms, triage beds, and OB operating rooms. Expect to navigate both low-risk cases with certified nurse midwives and high-risk pregnancies requiring maternal fetal medicine expertise. This position offers an opportunity to cross-train into mother/baby care, making your experience both challenging and rewarding in a facility that handles approximately 2,000 deliveries annually. Registered nurses will need BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring, and AWHONN intermediate certifications. You'll be expected to work 36 hours weekly over a 13-week contract, with the flexibility of approved time off and rotating holiday and weekend shifts.
