Job Description:

Join a vibrant team in a reputable Short Term Acute Care hospital as a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse. This role involves night shifts in a locked inpatient psychiatric unit, where you'll work with adult and geriatric patients facing co-morbid medical and psychiatric conditions such as dementia, depression, Parkinson’s Disease, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your responsibilities will include medication administration via multiple routes, IV initiation and maintenance, blood glucose monitoring, Foley catheter care, and participation in milieu therapy. The hospital values flexibility, and as a charge nurse, you'll step into leadership roles as needed—all while working with a multidisciplinary team in a facility recognized for its Magnet and Level I Trauma designation.
