Job Description:

Join us for an engaging travel nursing opportunity on the second floor of a well-regarded hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts in a telemetry unit with 20 private rooms, where you'll be responsible for monitoring patients with a variety of diagnoses, including post-catheterization, medical/surgical conditions with telemetry needs, and respiratory challenges. Expect to manage patient loads around 1:5 for telemetry cases and collaborate closely with charge nurses and pharmacy staff. This assignment offers the chance to deepen your expertise in telemetry and stepdown care, with a focus on dysrhythmia recognition and basic cardiac monitoring—without the hassle of ventilator management. The setting is a lively but supportive environment, where you can execute nursing duties like IV placements, lab draws, and medication administration confidently, all while contributing to a team that values your input and independence.
