Job Description:

Join a fast-paced Level III Trauma Center ICU as a travel nurse and experience the challenge of managing a diverse adult patient population in an environment that combines medical and surgical care. You will be responsible for caring for critically ill patients with conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, and renal failure, often working alongside attendings and residents in a 20-bed MICU. This role offers the opportunity to hone your telemetry skills and handle high-acuity cases with patient ratios that can be as tight as 1:1 or 1:2. The unit's floating assignments to Med Surg floors require adaptability and expert care of up to 4 or 5 patients, making each shift uniquely engaging. Ideal for experienced MICU nurses eager to sharpen their skills in a bustling ICU, this position combines clinical excellence with a supportive team environment.
