Job Description:

Join the ICU team at Salem Hospital for a 12-hour night contract working in a Level III Trauma Center's Medical ICU (MICU). This role involves providing specialized care to adult patients with complex conditions such as sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, and cardiac emergencies. You will be floating across Medical and Surgical units, managing up to 4 or 5 patients, with a focus on telemetry monitoring and reading tele strips. The unit is staffed with attendings and residents around the clock, offering a stimulating environment for experienced ICU RNs ready to take on a challenging but rewarding assignment. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in a dynamic setting with a patient population that ranges from substance overdose to severe psychiatric conditions, all while working in a 20-bed ICU dedicated to adult critical care.
