Job Description:

This specialized nursing role involves providing comprehensive care to patients in a hospital setting, specifically within the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a Level I trauma facility. Working during 12-hour night shifts, you will be responsible for managing an assigned group of patients, closely monitoring physiological data, administering medications—including IV infusions and blood products—and assisting physicians with examinations and minor procedures. You'll also document patient responses to treatments and communicate effectively with families about care plans and procedures. This assignment offers a hands-on experience in a high-acuity environment that truly tests and enhances your critical care skills.
