Job Description:

This PACU RN contract offers a chance to work in a fast-paced post-anesthesia care setting where you'll manage patient recoveries following various surgeries, including general, thoracic, plastic, vascular, orthopedics, urology, and gynecology procedures. You’ll be the key partner in ensuring patients—ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics—transition safely from anesthesia to recovery. Expect a schedule of Monday through Friday, with days starting at 9:00 am and ending around 5:30 pm, primarily on the evening shift with occasional rotations to the day shift. The unit handles 30 to 40 patients daily within a 34-bed facility, and you'll be using EPIC charting to document care. This assignment requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, specific active licenses, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
