Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment is located in a welcoming hospital offering a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit with a mix of step-down ICU and telemetry beds. As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will be responsible for primary nursing care, including telemetry monitoring, strip reading, fingerstick blood sugars, and operating equipment such as BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitors. The role involves providing attentive care to patients in a setting that values precision and responsiveness, with scheduled shifts of 36 hours per week over approximately 13 weeks. Travelers should be comfortable floating to various acute units in the hospital, including medical, surgical, pediatric, ICU, and emergency roles, as needed. This assignment provides an engaging experience working within a team that values skills in telemetry and acute care procedures, all within a supportive environment focused on patient safety and comfort.
