Job Description:

Join a vibrant team in a fascinating setting where you'll work in a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit featuring both step-down ICU and telemetry. Your role involves providing primary nursing care, closely monitoring telemetry, reading strips, and managing fingerstick blood sugars. The unit utilizes Meditech charting, Pyxis medication dispensing, BIPAP equipment, and continuous cardiac monitoring. Expect to float within all acute units, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER, offering a variety of experiences in a dynamic hospital environment. This assignment is perfect for nurses with at least one year of recent hospital acute care, especially those experienced in telemetry and progressive care. The schedule is 36 hours a week with no guarantee of hours and no call. The shift structure and procedures make this a unique opportunity to enhance your skills while exploring a beautiful island setting.
