Job Description:

Join a specialized medical-surgical neuro unit that offers a unique opportunity for registered nurses who are experienced in neurological and neurosurgical care. This 48-bed unit treats patients with strokes, aneurysms, seizures, spinal fusions, and brain or spinal cord tumors. You'll work on a 13-week contract, rotating through 12-hour night shifts, and have the chance to experience a facility where advanced neurological monitoring and multidisciplinary teams come together. The role requires frequent floating within the scope of practice, including potential assignments at other campuses, making adaptability a key part of the experience. Prepare to engage in complex patient scenarios with a focus on neuro care, utilizing EPIC charting, administering drips, and collaborating with care techs, techs, and paramedics. RNs with at least two years of experience in large, urban hospitals will be best suited to thrive in this environment.
