Job Description:

Join a busy surgical environment as an operating room technician for a 13-week contract in Springfield, Illinois. This role involves supporting a wide range of procedures across general, gynecological, neurosurgical, orthopedic, plastic, trauma, and urological surgeries. You'll be working 8-hour daytime shifts, primarily from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with a focus on preparing, arranging, and managing surgical instruments and supplies. The position requires a minimum of three years of OR tech experience, current BLS certification, and familiarity with advanced surgical instrumentation and techniques. You'll need to be comfortable floating within your scope to meet departmental needs and participating in weekend shifts once a month. This role is ideal for seasoned OR techs seeking a fast-paced hospital setting within a Level I trauma center, where your expertise keeps surgeries running smoothly from start to finish.
