Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a vibrant Progressive Care Unit where you'll care for a mix of patients in a 15-bed setting that combines step-down ICU and telemetry monitoring. This assignment offers a variety of experiences, from primary nursing duties and telemetry strip readings to fingerstick blood sugars, all while working in a fast-paced hospital environment. You'll be utilizing Meditech charting, Pyxis medication systems, and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment. This role is perfect for nurses with at least one year of recent hospital acute care experience, especially those familiar with telemetry or progressive care. Expect to work scheduled 36-hour weeks with no guaranteed hours or call, floating to other units like medical, surgical, pediatric, ICU, or ER as needed.
