Job Description:

Join this CVICU RN contract opportunity where you’ll be on the night shift, working 12-hour nights, tending to a mix of critically ill cardiac patients including fresh open hearts post-CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR. You'll float across ICUs, PACU, ED, and IMC units, supporting patients with ventilators, chest tubes, lumbar drains, and other advanced devices like Impella and IABP. Expect to be hands-on with post-op open heart recovery, managing swan-ganz catheters, A-lines, and CRRT setups. The role requires two years of acute care experience and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIH, and IV therapy. First-time travelers are welcome, and there's an emphasis on flexibility with floating and holiday coverage. This assignment offers a chance to refine your critical care skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting, all while experiencing a vibrant city known for its diverse culinary scene and cultural attractions.
