Job Description:

Join a step-down unit as a registered nurse on a 13-week travel contract, working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. This assignment focuses on lower-acuity patients, with a typical patient ratio of 1:4, expanding to 1:5 during emergencies. You’ll be responsible for IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and reading strips, utilizing your 2+ years of relevant experience in telemetry and step-down care. The environment provides an opportunity to fine-tune your skills in a setting that values reliability and professionalism—note that attendance is important, with only a few call-offs permitted. Burgundy or white scrubs are standard, and Cerner EMR is used throughout.
