Job Description:

Join an esteemed Level I trauma center as an operating room registered nurse, where you'll be part of a highly skilled team managing a wide range of surgical cases. This assignment offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment across 23 operating rooms, including general, trauma, and specialty procedures, with a focus on laparoscopic-assisted surgeries and complex cases such as whipple procedures and craniotomies. Your day will start at 8:45 am, working four 10-hour shifts, with the opportunity to handle emergencies when on call. While floating rarely occurs, you may be asked to work across different service lines within your scope, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience where your expertise truly matters. Expect to leverage your previous trauma, general, and specialized surgical skills, including procedures like appendectomies, hernia repairs, and organ transplants, while working with advanced equipment like electrosurgical units and Hana tables.
