Job Description:

Join the team on a busy neurosurgery unit at a renowned hospital for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. As a registered nurse, you'll handle a patient load with ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 during the day, stretching to 7:1 at night, ensuring seamless care with standard med-surge equipment and Cerner EMR. This role demands outgoing, self-motivated professionals comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on procedures like Foley insertions and IV starts. Candidates must hold ACLS and NIH certifications, with neuro experience and ACLS being highly preferred. You’ll be part of a skilled team on a unit with 36 beds and a staff of 40, contributing to a vital area of patient recovery and stabilization.
