Job Description:

Join a specialized neurosciences unit on a 13-week travel contract at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. You'll be working the popular 12-hour night shifts in a vibrant 36-bed unit, providing care for patients with neurological needs. This role is ideal for RNs with a strong interest in neuro conditions, ready to support a team of dedicated staff with a patient ratio stretching to 7:1 during night shifts. Expect to perform procedures such as Foley insertions and IV starts, utilizing standard med-surg equipment and Cerner EMR. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to hone neuro-specific skills while experiencing the unique culture of Asheville's medical community. Be prepared for occasional weekend work and on-call shifts, all within a supportive environment that emphasizes professionalism and teamwork.
