Job Description:

Join Mission Hospital McDowell in Marion, North Carolina, as a Respiratory Therapist working 12-hour night shifts on a dedicated cardiopulmonary unit. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of ventilators, including V60, GE R860 Carescape Vents, Vapotherms, Comfort Flow HFNC, HT70 transport vents, and Hamilton C1 Vent/bipap. You will be responsible for managing all respiratory services, performing procedures such as intubations and ABG analysis, and using critical thinking to adjust vent settings and interpret ABGs. The environment is collaborative, with a small but dedicated team supporting patient care in a 35-bed unit that includes 5 LDRP rooms. This assignment is perfect for a caring, independent professional who can confidently work off their own and thrives in a family-oriented community setting.
