Job Description:

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join the CV PreOp unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. As a specialized professional, you will work with a small, dedicated team in a four-bed unit, preparing patients for cardiac procedures. Your responsibilities include performing large-bore IV starts, assisting with arterial and central line placements, medication administration, and skin assessments. The shift is a 12-hour day schedule, with opportunities to stay late a few times weekly. This assignment is perfect for experienced CVOR professionals who thrive in high-acuity environments and enjoy working independently. Certification in CVOR experience and two prior travel assignments are mandatory—no exceptions—as this role demands a seasoned, knowledgeable team member who can hit the ground running.
