Job Description:

Join our team as an OR Tech in a busy Level I trauma acute care hospital located in Springfield, IL. You'll be supporting the surgical team through a variety of procedures across multiple specialties, including general, neuro, orthopedic, gynecological, and trauma surgeries. This role involves assisting with sterile setups, handling instrumentation, and floating within your scope of practice to meet departmental needs. Expect to work 8-hour days on a consistent day shift, with some weekend obligations once a month. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment where every second counts. If you have at least three years of experience, BLS certification, and are comfortable working in a teaching hospital, this assignment offers a chance to showcase your skills in a setting that demands precision and professionalism, all while experiencing the unique energy of a Level I trauma center.
