Job Description:

Join this engaging NICU contract where you'll care for critically ill newborns in a Level 3 nursery known for its high acuity and fast-paced environment. As a travel healthcare professional, you'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing vital support to the team managing infants from 22 weeks to term, including high-volume preemies, drug withdrawal babies, and those with respiratory needs. You’ll interpret basic arrhythmias on Phillips monitors, assist with high-frequency vents and nitric oxide therapy, and collaborate with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. Flexibility is key, as floating to the Pediatrics and Postpartum units may be required, often with minimal orientation. This role offers a chance to work with complex cases involving IV therapies, TPN, and surrogates, all within a busy and sophisticated unit that values skilled, confident nurses with strong IV skills and Cerner experience.
