Job Description:

Join a busy ICU providing care for complex patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. This role offers the chance to work with high-acuity cases such as ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, post-cardiac cath, and trauma. You'll be managing ventilators, vasopressors, sedation, and proning, with a nurse-to-patient ratio that varies from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on patient needs. The unit operates on a 48-hour weekly schedule, with 12-hour night shifts, and you'll be supported by a dedicated team including nurse aides, RTs, and intensivists. The experience here will sharpen your critical thinking skills and give you exposure to advanced interventions like Impella, IABP, and CRRT, making this assignment both challenging and rewarding.
