Job Description:

Seeking an experienced ICU registered nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Rapid City, South Dakota. This role involves managing complex ICU patients, including medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases, in a mixed unit divided into pods. Travelers will be responsible for ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, administering IV medications, and potentially assisting with proning. The shift is 12-hour days, with a commitment of 48 hours per week. The unit maintains a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity, and the environment is fast-paced and high acuity.
