Job Description:

Join a sought-after pediatric unit in Rapid City, South Dakota, as a PICU RN where you'll play a vital role in caring for critically ill children from newborns to 18-year-olds, including some adult overflow. This assignment offers hands-on experience with complex cases such as respiratory failure, circulatory shock, and neurological disorders, all within a 15-bed general pediatrics and 5-bed PICU setting. Your days will involve evaluating vital signs, titrating drips for ventilated patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a dedicated team of support staff to deliver top-tier pediatric care. It's a chance to sharpen your critical care skills while working in a supportive, traveler-friendly environment that emphasizes a culture of learning and growth. Expect to use EPIC charting and have access to ultrasound for difficult IV insertions, with a team ready to support your efforts around every corner.
