Job Description:

Join our team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in the scenic town of Honokaa, Hawaii. This contract offers a hands-on opportunity to utilize your expertise in a vibrant healthcare setting that challenges your multitasking skills. You will be responsible for managing a variety of procedures, working independently and efficiently, while utilizing equipment such as Meditech EMR, Life pack Defibrillators, Braun IV pumps, Philips Monitoring Systems, and Motorola Radio Systems. The perfect candidate will have over two years of experience, with proficiency in IV placement, and familiarity with Stroke, STEMI, and Trauma activations. Your knowledge of core measures, patient safety goals, and excellent customer service skills—AIDET and Press Ganey—will ensure outstanding patient interactions. You must possess or obtain Hawaii licensure before the start of your assignment, including certifications like BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with additional certifications such as TNCC, NIHSS, NCI, and Procedural Sedation preferred. The schedule features variable shifts—8 or 12 hours—with an average of 36 hours per week, scheduled over a two-week period, including one on-call shift and at least one weekend off. Flexibility to float to related units based on your clinical abilities is required, as determined by nursing administration.
