Job Description:

Join a 20-bed MICU in Omaha, Nebraska, where you'll work night shifts providing critical care to patients facing complex medical challenges such as respiratory failure, kidney issues, liver failure, overdoses, and septic shock. This contract offers the flexibility of 36 hours per week over a 13-week duration, with the opportunity to float within various units to meet hospital staffing needs. You'll be part of a team that includes care techs, transport staff, and paramedics, working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that values expertise and adaptability. Expect to utilize EPIC charting and manage drips across the floor. This role requires prior ICU experience in a large urban hospital, and you'll need to work two out of three major holidays. The facility maintains a nicotine-free environment and provides official Nebraska Medicine scrubs, along with parking options in the campus vicinity.
