Job Description:

Join a busy Intensive Care Unit in North Platte, Nebraska, providing skilled critical care nursing in a rewarding environment. This role involves managing patients with complex diagnoses such as sepsis, neurosurgery, cardiovascular conditions, and respiratory issues, often titrating critical drips like insulin, pressors, and inotropes. You will work 12-hour day shifts, caring for a mix of ICU, PCU, and MedSurg patients, sometimes without ICU-specific cases on the floor. The ideal candidate will navigate advanced equipment like vents, CPAP, BIPAP, and high-flow heated oxygen, along with monitoring telemetry via Phillips monitors. This assignment offers the opportunity to experience a vibrant healthcare setting, focused on delivering high-quality patient care with a supportive team, including 24/7 hospitalist coverage and in-house RT services.
