Job Description:

This contract opportunity is perfect for experienced telemetry nurses looking to step into a fast-paced, 12-hour day shift role at a busy hospital in Martinsburg, West Virginia. You will be responsible for monitoring cardiac patients using Phillips cardiac monitors, managing drips like Cardizem and Amiodarone, and collaborating closely with hospitalists and intensivists around the clock. The role involves reading EKG strips, documenting in EPIC, and participating in occasional unit float rotations. Expect a mix of acute cases including post-STEMI, NSTEMI, and post-surgical patients, with future plans to elevate the unit's acuity to include higher-level stepdown care.
