Job Description:

This ER travel assignment places you in a busy community hospital approximately 40 miles southwest of Savannah, Georgia, working 12-hour night shifts. You will be an integral part of the emergency team, managing a high volume of patients with diverse medical conditions, including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, and respiratory issues. The role involves fast-paced multitasking, proficient IV and drip management, and occasional triage responsibilities—experience in smaller hospitals is preferred. You'll work alongside both physicians and midlevels, with charge nurses available for support and a patient load that can reach up to 140 patients during peak times. Expect to troubleshoot ventilators and monitor strips, draw labs, and contribute to patient stabilization, all while upholding a strong commitment to patient satisfaction and safety.
