Job Description:

Join a reputable medical-surgical/telemetry unit as a travel RN in North Carolina, where you'll be integral in managing a variety of patient needs including joint replacements, abdominal surgeries, and medical overflow cases. This 32-bed unit maintains an average census of 28 patients and operates with RN staffing ratios of approximately 1:4 to 1:6 during night shifts. Your responsibilities will include interpreting cardiac rhythms, managing non-titrating cardiac drips, wound and drain care, and central line management. Expect to collaborate closely with support staff such as CNAs, phlebotomists, and charge nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting with advanced technology like EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Phillips monitors, all while floating across facilities within the region. The assignment features a consistent 12-hour night shift schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.
