Job Description:

Join our team as a Radiologic Respiratory Therapist (RRT) within the NICU at Brookwood Hospital's 4th Floor Womens NICU. In this role, you'll perform advanced respiratory support, operate specialized ventilators such as Bunnell Jet and Hamilton C6, and provide high-risk delivery coverage in a neonatal intensive care setting. Your expertise will help support fragile 23-week-plus infants and contribute to life-saving interventions during overnight hours. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art NICU with a dedicated team and a focus on high-acuity neonatal care. Expect to work three 12-hour night shifts weekly, covering high-risk deliveries and high-demand scenarios but without overnight call responsibilities. Your skills and positive attitude will directly impact neonatal outcomes while providing a rewarding and specialized experience.

Job Specifics:

Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Shift: Night shift, 7pm to 7am
Duration: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3 nights)
Commitment: 36 hours per week over 13 weeks, covering high-risk deliveries and neonatal ventilator management in a Level III NICU with 29 beds.
