Job Description:

This contract opportunity places you on a newly opened Progressive Care Unit specializing in medical conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetic patients with insulin drips. You will work 12-hour night shifts, providing skilled nursing care in a 33-bed facility with a focus on adult patients. The role involves managing ventilated and trached patients, titrating drips like Cardizem and heparin, performing wound care, and interpreting cardiac rhythms. It’s a chance to be part of a team that adapts quickly to a growing environment, with a focus on independent monitoring and occasional floating to various regional facilities within scope. This assignment offers a chance to deepen your PCU expertise while experiencing a supportive, well-equipped setting without the typical patient care responsibilities of an RN, but with plenty of clinical challenge and room for growth.
