Job Description:

Join this exciting opportunity in a newly opening Progressive Care Unit (PCU) dedicated to adult patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, dialysis-dependent patients, and those with insulin drips. You'll be the go-to nurse for managing IV starts, wound care, central lines, NG tubes, and titrating critical drips like Cardizem, amiodarone, and insulin—skills that keep your days (or nights) challenging and rewarding. The unit offers a 1:4 patient ratio, and familiarity with EPIC EMR is required. Float assignments within regional facilities are expected and counts as part of your schedule. This role offers an engaging environment where your expertise keeps the unit running smoothly despite it being a brand-new space. Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
