Job Description:

Join an intensive care unit in Monroe, NC, where you'll be the vital link in managing adult ICU patients experiencing conditions like sepsis, strokes, respiratory and kidney failures, and GI bleeds. This role requires hands-on skills with vented patients, trachs, chest tubes, and critical drip maintenance, all while navigating the EPIC system. Your expertise will support a team staffed with dedicated nurses, intensivists, and support personnel. The schedule of 12-hour night shifts offers a chance to experience the hospital's rhythm while honing your critical care skills in a setting that balances autonomy with team collaboration. Unique to this assignment is the emphasis on autonomous lab draws, remote triage capabilities, and a comprehensive support network including anesthesia, RT, hospitalist, and virtual critical care doctors around the clock.
