Job Description:

Join this shift as a Telemetry Registered Nurse in Phoenix, AZ, where your expertise will be essential in caring for high-acuity patients on a 30-bed Medical Telemetry unit. You'll work 12-hour night shifts for a total of 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to handle diverse cases including Gyn surgeries, pre-liver transplants, ESRD, and pneumonia. Expect to perform sterile skill procedures such as Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes, with a focus on maintaining sterile fields during high-stakes environments. Your ability to read EKGs, manage BiPAP and C-PAP ventilated patients, and work independently will be critical. The hospital emphasizes competency in IV skills, sterile techniques, lifts, restraints, and wound care, providing a comprehensive environment for professional growth.
