Job Description:

Join a rewarding cardiac surgery unit as a CVOR Registered Nurse on a contract basis. In this role, you'll independently scrub and circulate in cardiac surgery cases, ensuring each procedure runs smoothly from start to finish. You'll work two 12-hour days and two 8-hour days per week, with shifts typically from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 10:45 AM to 7:15 PM. This assignment offers a hands-on experience in a Level I Trauma Center, where your expertise will directly support complex cardiovascular operations. Be prepared for on-call duties—two 24-hour calls per week with some flexibility to stay late—and the opportunity to float within your scope to meet hospital needs. If you are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, this unique opportunity blends clinical challenge with a dynamic work setting.
