Job Description:

This RN position in Medical-Surgical/Telehealth units at a busy teaching hospital offers a chance to work 12-hour night shifts in Macon, Georgia. You'll be responsible for managing patients with a variety of diagnoses, including those requiring chest tube management, trach care, and cardiac drips like insulin and heparin. The role involves proficiency in EKG interpretation, PIV starts, and operating advanced monitoring equipment such as Phillips monitors and EPIC EMR. As part of the team, you'll assist with patient safety, vitals, and blood glucose checks, all while floating across multiple Med/Surg and Tele units. The assignment provides a vibrant setting filled with opportunities to collaborate with dedicated nurses, hospitalists, and support staff, all in a facility recognized for trauma care, stroke treatment, and teaching excellence.
