Job Description:

Join a team of skilled registered nurses for a 14-week contract in Lexington, KY, working 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. This role is focused on high-acuity care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting, with responsibilities including managing complex patient conditions, rapid response situations, and occasional floating to ICU or other PCU units. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of recent ICU experience, including one year in a Level 1 trauma environment, equipped with strong critical thinking skills. You’ll be working with diverse patient populations requiring Med/Surg and Telemetry skills, while utilizing your ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. Orientations to transitional units are part of the onboarding process, offering a comprehensive exposure to different care areas. This contract provides an engaging opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced setting that values acute adaptability and detailed patient monitoring.
